However, Vanessa is actually a vampire and has brought Sebastian to a semi-centennial meeting of her vampire council to fill a vacant position. However, when he is rejected, Sebastian is forced to try and fight his way out and to make matters worse a group of special forces soldiers are standing guard outside the meeting, waiting to take down their vampire enemies.
